Step 1
Numbing Gel
- Before your tattoo session, cleanse the tattooed area thoroughly with soap and water to remove any dirt or oils.
- Once clean, pat the skin dry with a clean towel and allow it to air dry completely.
- Using a clean applicator or your fingertips, apply a thick layer of numbing gel to the entire tattooed area. Make sure to cover the entire tattoo with an even coat of gel.
- Leave the gel on for 15-30 minutes to allow it to fully penetrate the skin and numb the area. You may experience a tingling or cooling sensation as the gel takes effect.
- After the allotted time, wipe away any excess gel with a clean cloth and proceed with your tattoo session. The numbing effect should last throughout the duration of the tattooing process, providing relief from discomfort and pain.
Step 2
Soothing Gel
- After your tattoo session, gently wash the tattooed area with mild soap and lukewarm water to remove any excess ink, blood, or ointment.
- Pat the skin dry with a clean towel, taking care not to rub or irritate the tattooed area.
- Once dry, squeeze a small amount of soothing gel onto your fingertips and apply it evenly to the tattoo. Be sure to cover the entire tattooed area with a thin, even layer of gel.
- Using gentle, circular motions, massage the gel into your skin until it's fully absorbed. This will help soothe any irritation or redness, promote healing, and keep the skin hydrated.
- Continue to apply soothing gel to the tattooed area 2-3 times a day, or as needed, until the tattoo is fully healed. This will help keep the skin moisturized and prevent itching or dryness, allowing your tattoo to heal properly and maintain its vibrant colors.
Step 3 (Daily)
Tattoo Balm
- Start by ensuring your tattooed skin is clean and dry. Scoop out a small amount of Tattoo Balm using clean fingertips.
- Gently rub the balm between your fingers to warm it up, then apply it to the tattooed area.
- Using circular motions, massage the balm into your skin until it's fully absorbed. Pay extra attention to any areas of dryness or irritation.
- For new tattoos, apply the balm sparingly, avoiding excessive rubbing or pressure. Use the balm daily to help soothe and moisturize the skin, promoting faster healing and enhancing the vibrancy of your tattoo's colors.
Step 4 (Daily)
Lotion
- Once your tattoo has fully healed, start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water to prevent any bacteria from transferring to the tattooed area.
- Squeeze a small amount of lotion onto your fingertips and gently massage it into the tattooed area. Use slow, circular motions to ensure the lotion is evenly distributed and fully absorbed by the skin.
- Continue massaging the lotion into your skin until it feels hydrated and moisturized. Pay extra attention to any areas of dryness or flakiness, as these may require additional hydration.
- Reapply lotion to the tattooed area as needed throughout the day, especially after showering or washing your hands. This will help keep the skin moisturized and prevent it from becoming dry or irritated, allowing your tattoo to maintain its vibrancy and clarity over time.
Step 5 (Daily)
Sunscreen
- Before heading outdoors, make sure your tattooed skin is clean and dry. Shake the sunscreen bottle well to mix the ingredients.
- Squeeze out a generous amount of sunscreen and apply it evenly to all tattooed areas. Be sure to cover every part of your tattoos with a thick, even layer.
- Gently massage the sunscreen into your skin until it's fully absorbed, taking care not to rub too hard or irritate the tattooed area.
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours, or more frequently if you're swimming or sweating. This will ensure your tattoos stay protected from harmful UV rays, preventing fading and maintaining their vibrancy over time.
